When is it time to reroof my multi-family property?
This is going to depend on your current roofing material. Asphalt shingles are one of the most common types of roofs in Massachusetts. If there are two or more layers of shingles or if the top layer is curling, lifting or damaged beyond repair, it’s time for a new one.
What can I do to protect my duplex or townhome from wind and hail damage?

Do the roofers need to come inside?
Usually not. When we work on your multi-family property, we can typically make all preparations and complete the work without coming inside. This means we won’t disturb the residents.
Will I need to replace my gutters if I get my roof replaced?
This will depend on how your gutters were installed. Even if we have to temporarily remove the gutters, we can usually put them back on. However, a new roof is a great time to upgrade your current gutters because this prevents them from being damaged during the roofing process.

We had DelPrete replace our 30 y/o Windows, Clapboard and Cedar Shingles. I cant say enough good things about the whole process. Although this past winter pushed back our start date, once the job was started I could not believe how quickly … More and efficiently Estuardo's crew worked. From 7AM to 6:30 PM 6 days a week, they all went about their business and did a thorough clean up at days end. Dave was always available to answer any questions we had during the project. Five star experience all round!The communication from the sales and project management teams was first class throughout including the job scope, advanced prep requirements and on-site ETAs.Pre and post job inspections allowed as much time … More as necessary to provide clarity on the existing structural conditions and explain the various aspects of the completed work.The roofing crew arrived on time, were very courteous and presentable, were mindful of the flora, did a great job with the install and clean-up and completed the job in a day as promised.Everything above also applied to Part two of this project which was to replace all of the exterior cedar shingles and wood plank with Hardie fiber cement and trim with a couple of new windows also installed in the garage.Like Derek beforehand Project Managers Jimmy and Dave were exemplary throughout along with Estuardo leading an equally hardworking, courteous, presentable and conscientious crew.Once again this project was completed on time with exceptional communicationthroughout from Jimmy and Dave.There were some minor post-job aesthetics that were identified by both parties (which was very reassuring) but again nothing was too much trouble for them and Estuardo to diligently attend to in a concerted effort to ensure that we, as the homeowners, were left totally happy with the end result.
